300

Well if you think that I am going to write about the movie 300, then you obviously don't know me well enough. I don't write too much about movies because I am not one of your movie bluffs. I can't sit still in the theatre for 2 hours to complete a viewing. But nonethless, I did watch 300, well or should I say sit through because about 90% of the time I was banging my head on The BoyFriend's back. I can't take war/fighting/violent movies. I am a lover, not a fighter. Some days at least.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is the 300th entry to Lovin Each Day. I can't believe it. I thought I should gone past this mark long before because of the numbers of hours I spent writing. Maybe because each entry is bloody long and took up great deal of time. Or whatever, I don't know. But I am happy. Will throw a party on the 600th. You are invited!

I was thinking what I could possibly do to make this blog more interesting and colourful. Then I realised, it won't be me. Or my alter ego. I can't believe it is you writing. Hello, this really me, even though in the real world I appear totally sane, 100% prim and proper, 0% humour, 120% of the ideal weight, 80% of the time mute and deaf. This is me. Or should I say my alter ego. Ok, enough.

Back to the topic about how I wanted to make this space more colourful. I have been reading some blogs faithfully and realised how easy it is to related to beautiful pictures and I was thinking of posting some as well. Well, you see the only problem is that I am as good in photography as a fish on a bicycle. My only brief stint with photography was during my years in design school, where half of the pictures turned out over-exposed. The other half, under. And the thought of appearing in the pictures doesn't quite appeal to me. Because you see, I am one of those who look phenomenally different in pictures. They don't do you justice. Plus there is only one pose that I am capable of. Photoshop, I heard you say. But I am a minimalist, what I don't have to do, I don't.

I also toyed with the idea of adding some food reviews on LED but I was told by Zookeeper that it is not going to work because of my malfunctioning taste buds. I can't tell a stale coffee from a fresh one. So generally most things taste OK. And you can't rate everything ok in a food blog, you will be misleading readers. But I love fancy restaurants, for the ambience, for the people, for the china and the food too. While I suck at rating food, I have this amazing ability of identifying the ingredients in the food. Not so much through tasting but more like I am able to mentally picture the cooking process. I am genius, I know. Like all geniuses, I am jinxed.

To much randomness today.

On days when I am really bored, I read through my past entries and go I am an idiot. Because, I am just like everyone else after you strip off the quirkiness, optimistism, the dry humour and the body fat.

Still Lovin Each Day.

Looking into the mirror, blink*

"I will be good to myself.
I am a wonderful person.
I write a blog that requires nothing flashy, as I let the words make it happen.
I will continue to make people savor to read the last sentence of my post."

So sweet*

How about you do a 'Day in the Life' photo journal for us? You dont have to be in any of the shots if you dont want...just take pictures of your breakfast and the shoes you wear that day or whatever takes your fancy!
